Half Day Elephant Care- Morning or Afternoon
Overview
Start your day with a unique and unforgettable half day elephant care. We’ll pick you up from your hotel and drive through the beautiful countryside, passing lush forests and local farms, on our way to meet the elephants.
Upon arrival, you’ll change into traditional clothing and get ready for an up-close encounter with these majestic creatures. Spend time feeding, interacting, and learning about the elephants' natural behavior and history. In addition, you will also have the chance to make herb balls for the elephants and take memorable photos with them.
Next, take a scenic walk with the elephants along the Mae Taeng River and surrounding areas, then enjoy the fun of bathing and brushing these gentle giants. Afterward, you’ll be treated to a delicious Thai lunch or dinner with seasonal fruits.
Finally, we’ll drive you back to your hotel, leaving you with unforgettable memories of your visit to the Chiang Mai Elephant Sanctuary, an experience you'll cherish forever.

A free transfer service to/from all places of accommodation within a 5 k.m. radius of Chiang Mai’s Old City.
Transport from locations outside this area will incur a surcharge.
Customers will travel in a 12-seater, air-conditioned van, switching to a roofed 4×4 truck for the last 10 minutes to reach the sanctuary.
No prior cooking experience is required. However, the classes are recommended for children above 5 years old

Start your day with a scenic 1.5-hour drive from Chiang Mai, passing through the beautiful countryside, forests, and local farming areas.
Arrive at the site and change into traditional clothing. Get up close to the elephants, feeding and interacting with them while learning about their behavior and history.
Make herb vitamin balls for the elephants, and enjoy taking memorable photos with them in the natural setting.
Take a peaceful 30-minute walk with the elephants along the Mae Taeng River and the surrounding areas.
