Exclusive Afternoon Exploration of Doi Suthep
Overview
Join us for a half-day adventure that takes you into the heart of Chiang Mai's spiritual treasures! We'll start by preparing traditional lotus flower offerings, a lovely 15-minute activity that helps you understand the customs of temple visits in northern Thailand.
Next, we’ll ascend the mountain to the famous Doi Suthep Temple. Here, you’ll get to pay your respects to the Buddha and admire the stunning golden Chedi. As we explore, you’ll learn about the temple's ancient ceremonies and why it holds such cultural significance.
Then, we’ll head to the tranquil Wat Pha Lat, a hidden gem tucked away in the jungle. You can wander through its peaceful grounds, surrounded by beautiful statues, gentle streams, and lush forest views.
This tour is a fantastic chance to connect with the spiritual side of northern Thailand while enjoying the natural beauty of Chiang Mai. Come along and experience it with us!

Transport from locations outside this area will incur a surcharge.
Customers will travel in a 12-seater, air-conditioned van, switching to a roofed 4×4 truck for the last 10 minutes to reach the sanctuary.
No prior cooking experience is required. However, the classes are recommended for children above 5 years old

Begin your journey with a traditional lotus flower offering activity. Spend 15 minutes learning about the customs of temple visits in northern Thailand, and create your own lotus offering.
Ascend the mountain to Doi Suthep Temple
Upon arrival, explore the temple grounds, pay respects to the Buddha and the golden Chedi, and learn about the temple’s ancient ceremonies and cultural significance from your guide.
We will arrive at Wat Pha Lat, a hidden temple nestled in the jungle. Spend time exploring the peaceful grounds, taking in the serene statues, flowing streams, and lush forest surroundings.
Enjoy some free time for photography and personal reflection amidst the tranquil setting of Wat Pha Lat.
Begin your journey back down the mountain, concluding the temple visits.
